In 2003 Melbourne Electrical Specialists were successful in our tender for $150,000 worth of design and installation of public lighting at the Docklands Park. Since then we have undertaken additional work such as running the optic fibre cable for decorative lighting and installing the electrics for the BBQs and artworks.
Melbourne Electrical Specialists installed a fluorosave units system at the Good Guys store in Preston, Melbourne, saving $9000 on their electricity bill in the first year!
Voltage Controllers reduce the amount of electricity used by fluorescent lights by up to 30%. As well as saving energy, they extend the life of tubes, starters and ballasts, which in turn reduces maintenance and replacement costs. To qualify for implementation, there must be at least 40 x 36watt tubes, which is the equivalent of around 6amps.
Decorative lighting at St Enthwytes Church was selected and installed by Melbourne Electrical Specialists.
